ALI, the Association for Logic in India, organized the eleventh edition of its biennial Indian Conference on Logic and its Applications (ICLA), at the Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) Kolkata during February 3 – 5, 2025.
The conference saw participation from 11 countries and included students, academic researchers and industry professionals from diverse disciplines, particularly Mathematics, Computer Science and Philosophical Logic. More details about the conference can be found at the ICLA 2025 website. Selected videos of the conference can be found at the ALI YouTube Channel.
ICLA is a forum that brings together researchers from a variety of fields in which formal logic plays a significant and often foundational role: Mathematics, Computer Science, Philosophical Logic, Philosophy, Linguistics and Cognitive Science. A special feature of this forum is the inclusion of studies in systems of logic in the Indian tradition, as well as historical research on logic.
