The Indian Winter School on Logic and its Applications (IWSLA) 2025 took place at the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, K K Birla Goa campus, during December 8 – 12, 2025. The school was held as an in-person event.

There were two courses offered at the school.

• Forcing (Set Theory) by Dr. Ashutosh Kumar from IIT Kanpur
• Lean (Theorem Proving) by Dr. Prathamesh Turaga from Krea University

In addition, the school also featured two special lectures:

• An invited lecture on Lean by Prof. Siddhartha Gadgil from IISc Bangalore
• Lecture on “Applications (and Misapplications) of Logic in Legal Scholarship” by Prof. Mangesh Patwardhan from National Insurance Academy, Pune

The school saw participation by students, academic researchers and industry professionals from various parts of the country and from diverse fields including Mathematics, Philosophy, Computer Science and other related areas.
