World Logic Day is an international day established by UNESCO in association with the International Council for Philosophy and Human Sciences (CIPSH), and held annually on 14th January. The day was proclaimed in honor of two of the foremost logicians of the twentieth century, Kurt Gödel and Alfred Tarski, whose contributions to logic had far-reaching influences on the development of modern mathematics. The World Logic Day intends to bring to the attention of interdisciplinary science communities and the broader public, the rich intellectual history of logic, its conceptual significance, and its practical implications. In addition, the day is also intended to promote research, teaching, and institutional collaboration in logic worldwide.
